Brethren,
I would like to welcome all of you to our new website. For visitors I hope it will get you acquainted with the history of Hiram #25. For the members of our Lodge I hope it will aid you in your love for the Craft.
I would like to tell you all a little about myself. I am 26 years old, born and raised in Placerville, CA on my grandparents' horse ranch until we moved to Cameron Park in 1990. I attended Oak Ridge High School where I played football and rugby and graduated in 1998. I have a son, Alexander, who is 18 months old and is the light of my life. I have a twin sister Cathy, who helps me so much that I'd be lost without her generosity. I live in Placerville and enjoy many hobbies such as woodworking and my two horses. I work in El Dorado Hills at DST Output as a warehouse trainer. My main goal is to become a deputy sheriff in the great county of El Dorado. My grandfather, Romeo, belongs to this Lodge and I have an uncle in Redwood City who belongs to a lodge there. I was raised in this Lodge in 2003 and went straight into the chairs.
This being my first year as Master, I feel confident that my officers and I will make every effort to keep tradition and fellowship true in our Lodge. Worshipful Kevin Brown did such a wonderful job getting new carpet and paint in the Lodge room and I will try to continue to update the Lodge this year. Though we have many young oficers in the line, we still need the older members to help us with their wisdom and knowledge of ritual and every day business.
May the hearts and minds of every Mason be filled with the love and goodness of the Gret Architect of the Universe, and may he spread the cement of brotherly love and affection to every person he meets.
Fraternally,
Nickalous J. Battaini, W. M.
